It has been widely reported that the Queen of technocantopop Sammi Cheng, the idol with the most ah lian and ah beng supporters around the world has passed away due to depression and persistant illness...
However channel u news has reported that her company personnals have said she is all well and fine and is nw on vacation and will be back to work by the end of this month..

MING PAO - Because of "personal reasons," Sammi Cheng skipped the public signing of her latest record deal in Shanghai that binds her to East Asia Records. Insiders suspect Sammi missed her own event for health reasons. Recently rumors circulated that Sammi has depression.
While filming in Shanghai, she was rumored to have locked herself up in a room for a week. According to close friends, Sammi's biggest worries haven't been her career or her love life, but herself. Friends who've tried to talk to Sammi have been turned away. The superstar hasn't shown up at her friends' gatherings either. They suspect Sammi stays home because of asthma, hence developing depression.
They don't know what her story is and can only worry about her. Film producer Stanley Kwan says he doesn't believe rumors that Sammi is depressed are true. Sammi skipped out on the movie's promotional activities in Shanghai too, but Stanley isn't worried.
"There isn't anything that's more important than one's health. We won't pressure Sammi to make an appearance. We don't know if she'll attend the Venice Film Festival, but in any case her health remains the most important."

ORIENTAL DAILY NEWS - Taiwanese songstress Tsai Chin has endured a series of health problems in the past, including breast cancer and a brain tumor and successfully beat each illness. Now we learned that Tsai was rediagnosed with a recurring eye problem from 5 years ago that may leave the singer blind.
Two nights ago, Tsai performed on Shanghai's CCTV. Unable to see her audience clearly, she told them while singing her hit "Your Gaze", "Even though I can't see clearly with my eyes, I want you all to see my gaze." Tsai's retina was detached 5 years ago and is in danger of losing her eyesight.
Tsai flew to Shanghai for the show while sick and under stress, and was admitted to the hospital before her performance. The doctor advised her to bar from wearing contact lenses to prevent the situation from getting worse.
Final entertainment News ok its actually old news but i just found out recently that Alyssa Chia aka Jia Jing Wen the actress that played Zhao Min in Yu Tian Tu Long Ji just had her wedding nt too long ago and was pregnant at the time of her lightning marriage and here is what she said to her fans before she took a break from acting...

In fact another poly friend is rumoured to be married too although there's no confirmation yet she is already posting her wedding pictures on her firendster profile and so i would like to wish Kristinawati and her hubby will have many wonderfull yrs ahead of them and stay happy always
